If you’ve been following our progress here at RadianGEN, then you probably know 2013 has been a busy and exciting year for us. As we approach Thanksgiving and the holidays, our team is feeling a lot of gratitude for everything we’ve accomplished this year.
So in the spirit of the season, we wanted to share some of the things for which we’re feeling very thankful:
1. WE LAUNCHED RADIAN GENERATION!
It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly a year since we formally launched our new venture. The days have flown by in a whirlwind of continuous activity over the last 11 months. And as we approach year-end, it feels like things are kicking into high gear.
2. WE RAISED THE CAPITAL TO FUEL OUR CONTINUED GROWTH
We are thrilled to have received a major strategic investment from QuietStream Financial this September. This investment provides us with strategic and operational support as well as the capital to significantly expand our solar asset management services to help even more solar developers and investors accomplish their objectives.
3. WE BUILT RELATIONSHIPS WITH NEW CLIENTS
We are super thankful for our new clients we’ve had the pleasure to start working with this year. Thus far, we’ve worked to:
- Develop best practices O&M strategies for new geographic market
- Identify new opportunities in distributed generation (DG) solar
- Diligence and advise on multiple solar project acquisitions and investments
- Better manage solar assets to improve performance and returns
4. WE HIRED OUR FIRST NEW EMPLOYEE
Raphael is a seasoned solar asset manager who has worked with some of the best companies and teams in the industry. He was previously at Chevron Corporation developing commercial and utility scale solar projects throughout the U.S. He also worked at Solaria Corporation, where he led their performance engineering and asset management efforts. Raphael is a graduate of Stanford University and the Ecole Polytechnique in France. We’re thrilled to have him on board!
5. WE MOVED INTO NEW DIGS
Yes, we have a new office, and we are starting to feel settled in. We are located at 222 Columbus Ave, Suite 420, here in San Francisco (near the Transamerica Building, the Financial District and North Beach). We’ve still got a few finishing touches to complete on the decorating (Martha Stewart: you out there?), but we’re pumped to be settling into our new home.
So we’ve got a lot to be grateful for this year, but we’re even more excited about what we’ll be doing in 2014 and beyond. Stay tuned. We look to bring a new level of excellence and service to the solar asset class, which we hope will benefit the solar industry as a whole.
