Joe Kastner
Chief Executive Officer
Joe is CEO and a co-founder of RadianGEN. His passion for solar started as an undergraduate where he spent time researching solar water heating and smelting aluminum alloys in a solar furnace before joining the solar electric vehicle team. Post academics, he has over 20 years of professional experience in the solar industry. Joe has held senior management positions at three successful U.S. solar power producers: Renewable Ventures (co-founder), MMA Renewable Ventures, and Fotowatio Renewable Ventures, where he led technical development, construction, and operations.
Joe holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, an M.S. in Energy Engineering from Stanford University, and an M.S. in Environmental Science and Management from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
When he’s not focused on the clean energy transition he can be found enjoying the outdoors with his wife and two daughters in Northern California.
