Radian Generation Nears 100 NERC Category 2 Registrations, Setting the Standard for Renewable Energy Compliance
Charlotte, NC (July 22, 2026) — Radian Generation, a global partner delivering full lifecycle solutions for renewable energy assets, today announced it has successfully completed 95 North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Category 2 registrations for clients, with an additional 18 NERC Category 2 projects currently advancing through the pre-registration process.
The NERC Category 2 registration milestone underscores Radian’s leadership at a pivotal moment for the industry. Independent Power Producers (IPPs) that own and operate solar, wind, storage and hybrid assets need experienced advisors to navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment. Even after the May 15 NERC Category 2 compliance deadline passed, Radian continues to receive new requests every week from developers and IPPs seeking guidance on Category 2 registration.
By comparison, across all NERC regions, Radian currently has 245 Generator Owner (GO) NERC Category 1 active clients, with 102 NERC Category 1 GO clients in the pipeline. Additionally, Radian serves 5 NERC Category 1 Generator Operator (GOP) clients across several NERC regions.
